A little update on mr. Gallbladder
So it is so. I am going to have to go and get my gallbladder out. Right now i am dealing with biliary colic. It is where the gallstone i have is trying to get it way out of the gallbladder, and the common bile duct is not big enough to pass it. Because of the pain i am not eating or drinking enough. I went to the ER well the ICC tonight and i was given 1 IV bag of Fluid. The Dr was really nice and he didn't make me feel as if i was there to waste his time. I will have to wait till Monday to see about an appt. with the surgeon. I am going with the same lady that operated on my mom back in the spring. She took so wonderful care of the family and my mom esp when my mom stopped breathing on the table and i was the one who was with her as my dad was in the other local hospital with a possible heart attack that turned out not to be a heart attack. Plus I knew that i could get in faster if i went with the smaller hospital. And i am all for faster right now. I have to take my percote like i was told to because it is not going to stop hurting till they take out the gallbladder.

I'm glad you have the percocet! I don't remember what they gave me in the hospital after I was finally diagnosed with the gallstones but before that, when I'd get my attacks, I just wouldn't eat or drink at all. I'd just lie in bed (if I could) and moan. The final time I couldn't really even lie down so that's why I went to the ER. I hope you can have the laproscopic procedure done and not the full open-abdomen surgery. (((HUGS)))
